Three steps, then it's done

  1. 1

    Pick a charity

Search by name, cause or area. A person checks every charity's registration and bank details before it can take a gift.

  2. 2

    Give from R30

Once, or every month. You pay on the payment provider's secure page, so we never see your card.

  3. 3

    Keep track, without trying

Every gift sits in your Givezy account. When the tax year ends, your s18A receipts are ready in one place.

Your year of giving, on one page.

See what you gave, to whom and when. Set a goal if you like. When the tax year ends, download your tax pack with your s18A receipts in it.

  • Every gift, every charity, one list
  • Monthly donations you can pause or stop yourself
  • A yearly tax pack, ready for your return

What we check, and what we promise.

Checked by a person
We look at each charity's registration documents and bank details before it can take a gift.
Your card stays with the bank
You pay on the payment provider's page. Givezy never sees or stores card details.
No Givezy fee on your gift
We don't take a cut. The card provider's fee comes off before the gift reaches the charity.
s18A receipts, once a year
If you ask for one, and the charity is approved to issue them: one receipt per charity for the whole tax year.
What is an s18A receipt?

s18A receipts

Section 18A of the Income Tax Act lets you deduct donations to approved organisations from your taxable income, up to a limit set by SARS.

To claim, you need an s18A receipt. If the charity is approved and you ask for one, you get one receipt per charity for each tax year (1 March to the end of February), after the year ends.

Not every charity is approved. Each charity's page says whether it is.

No sign-up fee and no monthly fee. Gifts go straight to your own bank account, and your donors' s18A receipts are made for you once a year.
